The Heterogeneity of Obesity: Implications for Prevention, Diagnoses, and Treatment

Obesity has proven to be as dauntingly complex to address as it is devastating to individual and societal health. Solutions to this public health dilemma will require the type of multidisciplinary approaches that are a hallmark of Stanford University. Internationally renowned Stanford researchers and clinicians will share their perspectives on the challenges and approaches to solutions of the obesity epidemic and actively engage with one another and those attending.
Topics will range from basic science to clinical to community-based research.
Target Audience: Stanford affiliated researchers, clinicians, and academics interested in working together to find solutions to the obesity epidemic.
